FEW ACCIDENTS OR THEFTS
DURING CARNIVAL WEEK

Few accidents and fewer robberies or burglaries during Carnival week is the cause of considerable satisfaction at the police station after the general results of the week are summed up.

Capt. McDuffie of the detectives reports that only four minor burglaries were committed during the week, in most cases a small amount of money being taken, and Deputy Sheriff Asch points out only one fatality from an accident--the death of the Japanese boy who was hurt accidentally at Cressaty's, which had nothing to do with the Carnival crowds.
