New Court House.

On Tuesday last the Police Court of this county, after due consideration of the various plans and proposals submitted to them, accepted of the plan and proposal of Messrs. H. M. Posey & Wm. D. English. The new building will be built on the site of the old one, and will be of the same size. The exterior will be of smooth brick, with offices and grand jury room on the ground floor, and court room and other jury rooms on the second floor. The cost of erection will be $12,000. The well known character of the gentlemen who have undertaken the contract, and of the Commissioners employed to superintend the erection of the building, is sufficient assurance that the work will be faithfully performed and give entire satisfaction.
