CWA Payroll Further Reduced

Two more men will be dropped from the CWA payroll next week in response to instructions received Tuesday by J. K. Green, director of local activities, from A. F. Ghiglione, engineer in charge. The curtailment will leave a total of sixteen men employed on the Salmon River flood protection project, where excellent work is being done in clearing the stream of timber debris and removing from the banks brush and trees which threaten future obstruction by undermining.

Instructions were also received to advise all employees that present CWA regulations indicate no accident compensation will be paid after March 31.
