At a meeting of the Quidneck Company Saturday afternoon, stock being represented by Assignee Pomeroy and Trustee Farnsworth. Stephen Harris was elected President and Charles B. Gould Secretary. Harris proceeded to the office of the company, saw William Sprague, and demanded possession of the property. Mr. Sprague said he was no longer President, but represented the President, and if Harris attempted to take possession he would kill him, and if Harris went to the mill in his absence he had men there who would throw him into a trench a cold corpse. Harris then withdrew.
