THE EDUCATION CONVENTION.
This body adjourned Friday night about 10 o'clock. The session of that evening was a most interesting one, rendered so by an animated discussion, in which some of the ablest men of the convention participated, on the subject of Military Schools. A resolution was finally adopted in substance that the convention did not deem the subject one proper for their action. Governor McDowell delivered a most eloquent valedictory upon adjourning the convention. We have not room for the closing proceedings to-day.
