The Morris Brown College Chorus will make its 1935-36 debut today in a two-part rendition of the immortal George Frederick Handel's finest work, "The Messiah".
The Oratorio will be presented in the college chapel at 4 p. m.
The chorus will be directed by Professor E. Wayman Hathcock, instructor in music at the institution. Mrs. Hathcock, assistant instructor, will accompany the chorus and music lovers of Atlanta are in for a real treat in that this presentation promises to be the finest ever witnessed by a local audience.
Dean Charles L. Hill, head of the Theology Seminary of Morris Brown and exchange professor in Classical Languages at Atlanta University, will speak on "Sunrise" at the conclusion of part one of the Oratorio.
A silver offering will be asked at the door. This will be used to help with the expenses of the pre-planned tour of the Glee Club through the South and Midwest.
