SPAIN.

On the 31 of March a Shock of an EARTHQUAKE was felt at Madrid, which lasted violently for two Minutes and an half, shaking the Houses so much, that the Furniture was thrown down; and the Inhabitants expecting their Houses about their Ears, ran out for fear of being buried in the Ruins. How it fared with them at Cadiz and Seville was not known. The same Letters say, that they were in great Pain for the City of Lisbon as they imagined the Shock must have been much more violent there than it was at Madrid.
