Your $$$ + TPEL=Win!
Make no mistake about it, 1950 is the election year that counts. With the GOP comeback in 1946, labor lost time and results in defeating anti-labor hate legislation.
From this partial defeat came the strength of reactionary elements that permitted the Donnell Bill to be introduced into Congress.
The BRT is going all-out to see that labor's enemies are defeated at the polls this year. Aiding in this battle is the Trainmen's Political Education League, which is assuming the task of bringing the issue before the general public thru mailing and radio presentation of the facts.
And TPEL cannot exist without your support--your voluntary support. There is no compulsion to give funds to TPEL. There is only your belief in the job TPEL has undertaken, and your faith that labor and its friends can win the battle of politics for the people.
TPEL is as strong as your faith in the Brotherhood.
Your voluntary contribution gives it blood and strength to bring the people's case out in the open.
Your contributions, addressed to W. K. Sullivan, TPEL treasurer, 1328 Standard Bldg., will return to you and yours in the form of additional freedom and fair play in labor and social legislation after the enemies of the public good are driven out of Congress by votes.
