Hindu Accused In Slaying Case

OROVILLE, Cal., Dec. 9. (U.P.)—Efforts of California peace officers to solve the mystery of how 15 Hindus came to their deaths since 1926 had again showed results here today with definite accusation of Sher Singh Sathi of the murder of Sher Singh Gail in 1929.

Sathi was the complaining witness in the Richvale Hindu shooting which resulted in the conviction of four Hindus. Gail mysteriously disappeared at Butte City in 1929 and was never seen again.

Sundar Singh, one of the four convicted of the Richvale camp raid, told Sheriff C. W. Toland that "a stool pigeon with the immigration office" killed Gail, and then named Sathi as the stool pigeon.
