S. E. Shaw, member of the Holtville Bank staff from 1913 to 1931 and a resident of Imperial Valley since 1908, this week became book-keeper and accountant for the Imperial Valley Publishing company, publishers of The Morning Post, the Imperial Valley Press and the Sunday Post-Press.

Shaw took over the duties formerly discharged by Russell Bennitt, co-owners with George Bennitt of a minority interest which was sold last week to Publisher Paul A. Jenkins and three department managers. The Bennitts plan to leave the valley.

Shaw is a property owner, is married and the father of one boy, Earl. His residence at present is Holtville. His long residence in the valley has given him a wide circle of friends. He was a charter member of Roland W. Bradley post of the American Legion in Holtville.
