ASCHAFFENBURG, June 12.

On the 9th Instant there fell here a violent Storm of Hail, Lightning, and Thunder. The Cloud broke at the Distance of a Quarter of a League from this Place, and we were laid more than Five Feet under Water by the Violence of the Torrent, which has carried away several Buildings. Five Millers were drowned; and a young Man, who had taken Shelter under a Tree with his Mother and Sister, near Amorbach, was killed by the Lightning. (Another Account says, it was the Woman that was killed.)
