IS THE BELIEF OF HOLINESS SECT NOW SPREADING THEIR DOCTRINE HERE.

BARBOURSVILLE, W. Va., April 7.

The wildest excitement prevails among the citizens of Merritt's Creek near here. Mrs. Sarah Nicely, aged 45, of Merritts Creek, is preaching the doctrine that the world is to come to an end within the next thirty days.

She was recently converted to the faith of the Holiness sect and claims to have a message from the Lord who told her to scatter her belief among her neighbors that they might have time to prepare themselves for the approaching end. She has been so successful that she has in the last few days converted a large number of rural people who are fasting and praying and preparing for the end.

It is said that over two hundred people are affected by the delusion.
