PORTSMOUTH, AUGUST 11.

We are happy to state from authority, that those young gentlemen, who have been inoculated at hospital island, for the Small-Pox, after having had the Kine-Pox, have not as yet, (the 9th day) any symptoms or appearances of the Small-Pox, although they have been repeatedly inoculated with fresh Small-Pox matter, and have lodged in the room with a man who has the Small-Pox the natural way, very severely. In our next, we hope a full and satisfactory account of the preventive powers of the Kine-Pox.
