Brother C. J. Johnson writes us under date of Ypsilanti, Mich. June 23d, that the Michigan Yearly Meeting was held on the 13th and 14th ult. in West Bloomfield, Oakland Co. A precious season was enjoyed. He represents that brethren Limbocker, Merchant, Butts, and Willcox, are successfully engaged in preaching the gospel, and that God is blessing them abundantly. He wishes an explanation of I Peter 3: 18, 19, and 20.
He further remarks, that "wheat is poor,—much has been ploughed up—the country is full of laborers, and none to employ them."
