NO CLUE Is Found by County Officials as to Who Murdered Italian Huckster

A coroner's inquest which was to have been held over the body of Joseph Papandrea, the Industrial Italian who was found dead near the county road leading from Wilsonburg to Dola at 7 o'clock Thursday morning by A. W. Rittenhouse, a resident of Wilsonburg, this afternoon has been postponed and will not be held until Saturday morning.

From what can be learned of the case Papandrea left his home at Industrial at 5 o'clock Thursday morning for Haywood and the next news of his whereabouts was when his body was found with a number of gunshot wounds in his head and a rope around his neck, at the foot of an embankment near the county road a mile and a quarter from Wilsonburg. No clue or motive for the murder has been unearthed as yet by the county officials but it is thought that before the day is over some clue will be found.

Papandrea was an Italian huckster and was well known by a number of local persons, some of whom speak good of him while others say that he was a man always looking for work and would not work when he was offered a job, and that he made his living by trading and buying horses and that he was a professional in this line.

He is survived by his wife and six children. No funeral arrangements will be made until after the inquest.
