We hear that the Spanish Indians who used to commit horrid barbarities on the unhappy wretches that were cast away on the Florida shore, since they have been closely hunted by the Creeks, are all removed to the island of Cuba. That a Providence vessel which lately went to catch turtle on that shore, seeing a party of Indians (whom they mistook for Floridans, but were Creeks) fired on them to prevent their coming on board, but the Indians returned the fire, killed two valuable negroes, wounded the Captain, one Anthony Kemp, in the thigh, and his brother mortally.
