They write from the Hague, that M. Luicius, Minister from the King of Prussia, had lately a long Conference with the President of the Week; to whom, by Order of the King his Master, he communicated the Propositions which have been made him by the Court of France, in relation to the Succession to Juliers and Bergue. These Propositions not having been hitherto approved of by his Majesty, he exhorts the States General not to comply with any fresh Instances that have been made him on the Part of France, to engage their High Mightinesses to concur in Measures that he shall think fit to take in the said Affair. M. Luicius, in order to hinder the Foreign Ministers, and particularly those of France and of the Elector Palatine, from knowing the true Subject of the Conference, delivered at the same Time to the President a Memorial, in order to obtain a Passport for some Horses.
