An Orrington and Brewer fishing party came to grief in Amherst Sunday, when their car left the road, plowed through soft soil for several feet, and brought up against a stump. The party was brought to Ellsworth Sunday night, and arraigned in the Ellsworth municipal court Monday afternoon. Reginald L. Quinn of Orrington was charged with operating an automobile while intoxicated. Judge Crabtree found probable cause, and bound him over for the October term of the supreme court. His companions, Winfield S. Eldridge of Brewer and Everett L. Smith of Orrington, were charged with intoxication. They were adjudged guilty, and sentenced to fine of $10 and costs, or twenty days imprisonment in default of fine. They appealed, and furnished bonds in the sum of $100 each for appearance in October.
