Two Mail Sacks Reported Containing More Than $100,000 Are Stolen IN CHICAGO SUBURB
Money Designed for Manufacturing Companies in District, Is Report

Chicago, Mar. 25.--Four bandits held up a postal messenger in Harvey, a suburb, early today, and escaped with two sacks of mail reported to contain between $110,000 and $150,000 in currency consigned to manufacturing companies.

The robbers intercepted William Russell, a postoffice clerk, who was carrying the mail sack from a railroad station to the office. Overpowering the messenger the robbers seized the two sacks and fled in an automobile.
