Dom DiMag Faces Army

BOSTON—Dominic DiMaggio, 23-year-old outfielder of the Boston Red Sox, has been notified by his San Francisco Cal draft board to report for physical examination in Boston when the club returns Saturday from a western trip, state selective service headquarters said today.

A report on DiMaggio's physical examination will be forwarded to San Francisco and he will be classified there.

The examination will be given here to save DiMaggio a trip to California.

DiMaggio is unmarried.

His brothers, Joe of the New York Yankees and Vince of the Pittsburgh Pirates, both are married and have been deferred temporarily.
