LONDON, Dec. 10. Yesterday morning there was a very grand Council at the Cockpit, Whitehall, on affairs of great importance; and at noon there was a Cabinet Council at St. James's, at which were present his Majesty, the two Secretaries of State, his Grace the Duke of Portland, the Marquis of Rockingham, and the Lords Winchelsea and Aylesbury.

We hear there will soon be given some such authentic and indisputable accounts of the present state of our commerce and manufactures as will make the ignorant all stare, and prove greatly alarming to men of real understanding.

It is now said, by men of true knowledge and intelligence, that it must shortly be found necessary totally to reverse the scheme of internal policy which has been too long prevalent in this kingdom, in order to prevent the entire ruin of our foreign trade of exports.
