By Capt. Stacy who is arrived at Marblehead in 39 Days from Lisbon, we are informed, That just as he was coming away. a Gentleman, (one of the principal English Merchants there) told him that a Post was arrived with an Account that the KING of Prussia had a general Battle with the Imperial Army, and obtained a compleat Victory over them, by killing and taking Prisoners 25,000 Men; that the great Austrian General Marshal DAUN Was among the killed. it is said he was killed by a Cannon Ball.-- Capt. Stacy further says, that a Schooner was to sail in a few Hours after him, for Marblehead, which he imagines will bring some further Account of this most important Affair. It was thought at Lisbon, a Spanish War would be very soon.
