Ticket Swindlers.—We learn the following in the Bulletin's New York correspondence:

Quite a panic was created last week among the ticket swindlers, by the conviction and sentence of one of their number to Blackwell's Island, for swindling a California passenger. Their bondsmen, too, became frightened, and two of the fraternity, George Ward and Moses Philips, who are under indictment, were delivered up by their backers and their bonds cancelled. They were unable to get new bondsmen, and were consequently committed to the Tombs by Judge Welsh. Ward has boasted of clearing $2,000 on the sailing of one steamer, and a moiety of this sum would be an irresistible temptation to a professional bondsman.
