WASHINGTON, Dec. 16. (AP)-Senator Treadway, Republican from Massachusetts, withdrew his point of order raised against the Department of the Interior bills appropriating for the Alaska Railroad and the House passed the section of the bill carrying $1,400,000 for maintenance and improvement. This action took place after Sutherland had failed in an effort to increase the appropriation to $1,700,000.
