CARTER COUNTY MUST
ACT NOW TO GET
BELOW TICK LINE

Walter Colbert, chairman of the agricultural interests committee of the Chamber of Commerce, has called a meeting to be held at the rooms of that organization, in Ardmore, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. At that time the federal and state officials engaged in tick eradication work in this section will be here and will take part in the meeting.

This meeting is of more than passing importance, not only to every stockman in the county, but to every business interest, because if immediate steps are not taken, there is danger of Carter county being left below the quarantine line.

Much work has been done in the county along this line and it is just now in a way to receive the benefits of this work, but there is yet more to be done and those attending this meeting will be told by the government representatives just what is required.

An effort will be made to have a full attendance of stockmen and others at the meeting Friday. It is of prime importance.
