He Says It's A Tonic From The Hills of Home
Korea, May 27, 1951
The Herald:
I want to thank you for sending me the Dickenson County Herald. It sure built up my morale during the past year. I felt a lot better after I read the paper and found out what was going on around there.
I hope to be back there in Clintwood soon, for it seems like it has been years and years since I was there. Hope it won't be too much longer.
I send my highest appreciation and thank you very much.
