Receive Travel Fellowships

WASHINGTON (ANP)--Three students who graduated from Howard university last week have been awarded Lucy E. Moten Travel fellowships by Howard university to enable them to travel and study abroad. John William Coleman of Washington, who received his bachelor of science degree with cum laude honors, has received a $700 fellowship to study Bio-Physics at the University of Gottingen and to live for six weeks among the German people. Miss Billie Henderson, New York, who received the Master of Social Work degree, awarded a $700 fellowship to travel and study in England, observing and collecting data in respect to the National Health plan of that country. Miss Henderson's master's thesis was "Trends in Thinking Regarding Health Insurance as Reflected in the Proceedings of the National Conferences of Social Work."
