Full Text
With an intensive drive on down thru the Big Horn basin to create an "Inland Empire," which will include the counties of the Big Horn basin and possibly Fremont county, and the centralizing of the business of this section into Wyoming, it behooves the men up Montana way to do something to improve the Billings-Big Horn Basin road. Wyoming for several years has co-operated to the greatest of its ability to get a graveled road to Billings, but the men over Montana way have been indifferent about the tie-up with the Basin. There is a stretch of road through Bridger canyon that has had little or no attention for a number of years, and should this condition continue to exist, much of Wyoming's business which naturally would go to Montana, will be diverted south.
