CHILDREN ALONE WHEN BLAZE STARTS

Four children of Mr. and Mrs. C. Benson, 1319 International avenue, left alone at the family home on Saturday night were in danger of losing their lives when fire broke out, causing about $300 damage to the house.

It is believed that the children were playing with matches.

The oldest child was five years of age, the youngest one-year old twins. Their parents went to a show, leaving them alone in the house. Melvin Jorgenson of East Grand Forks discovered the blaze, which was extinguished within a short time.
