The Alleghany Q. Meeting held its last term, at Naples, Ontario Co. N. Y. on the 2d and 3d of March. Reports from the churches were generally refreshing. The religious prospects of this Q. M. are brightening. In the course of the meeting the revival, which had before commenced in this place, assumed a more glorious aspect, and young converts were heard to shout for joy.
On the Sabbath, in agreement with a request from the church at Conesus, and with the decision of a committee of examination appointed by the Q. Meeting, Brother G. Stibbins was ordained to the work of the ministry.
This quarterly meeting I think was one of the best I have attended for several years. It finally terminated in the spread of the Redeemer's kingdom.
JOSIAH FOWLER.
