Presents Ideas

For Recreation

Ralph Andrews,
State Director
of Recreation, met with the recreation committee of the Dunn Chamber of Commerce and presented ideas that have been used in other communities to improve and expand their recreation.

He pointed out that good recreation, not only is an advantage to the community, itself, but often is a factor in persuading new industries to settle in a community.

Many of the ideas he advanced could be carried through with the expenditure of very little money, and the committee will discuss some of these as projects at a future meeting.
