By the ship King Philip, Capt. Willis, arrived at Salem, on the 20th inst. dates from Montevideo to Jan. 11th, have been received.

Gen. Rivera, President of the Oriental Republic has gained a complete victory over the army of Gen. Echague, Governor of the Buenos Ayrean Province of Entre Rios.— 800 of Echague's men were left dead on the field, and others fell in the retreat.
