PORT AU PRINCE JUNE 3.

The President of Hayti, having resolved to put an end to the despotism of Christophe has called on the Haytians to rally round his standard, and one of his Generals (Bazelais) has announced to him, that on the 30th May he took, after a most obstinate resistance, the city of Gonaives. The enemy's troops were commanded by Generals Vernet and Magny. The forts of Boucauxin, defended by Gen. Pierre Toussaint were evacuated in the night of the 31st May, after a pretty vigorous resistance. Every measure is in activity to reinforce our victorious army.
