Their Glory Has Departed.

Washington, Nov. 29.—Ex-Speaker Crisp arrived here this morning and after a consultation with the Democratic leaders it was decided to hold a House Democratic caucus to-morrow afternoon. Caucus will select minority candidates for House officers, undoubtedly renominating the officers of the Fifty-third House. The caucus chairman and officer will represent the minority as a "whip" on the floor. Judge Holman of Indiana, chairman of the Democratic caucus of several Congresses, is not in the present House and it is believed the House will select Amos J. Cummings of New York for the honor.
