Full Text

Death At Ball.—A letter from New Orleans says that a notable incident, and one which should be a warning to too enthusiastic dancers, occurred in that city recently, at a dancing party. Notwithstanding the sultriness of the evening, a young man named O'Niel, danced frantically for an immoderate length of time, and then drank two or three glasses of iced lemonade, in succession. He was almost instantly taken alarmingly ill, and in a few moments was a dead man, his body, in those parts most liable to profuse perspiration, assuming a deep purple hue.
