Florida A and M. College graduated 10 students from Florida and Southern Georgia following a one week home nursing program, sponsored by the home economics and nursing education divisions. The graduates are eligible to teach men and women simply and easy methods of nursing the sick and in assistance to registered nurses during Civil Defense emergencies.

Meanwhile, the college reports that 546 students are enrolled for a three-week session in general education 1,936 for both six and nine week courses and 788 for nine week sessions.
