Tuesday night, as Mr. Gray was riding home from town, he was attacked by a man with a fusee, on the road, who demanded his money, threatening that if he did not deliver it directly, he was a dead man. Mr. Gray told him he had no money, but that he had a watch, which he delivered him; the Fellow said he must also have his horse, but that he should find him again at the hospital fence. Mr. Gray said perhaps he might meet with more of his company; and was answered, that if it should so happen, tell them you have seen John the Barber; and then rode off full gallop.
