PULLMAN HURRICANES Play Macon, Then Montgomery Sox

Tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon the Pullman Hurricanes will cross bats against the strong Macon nine, the Macon All-Stars this time, which boasts such stars as Bomar Potter, T. Howard, Ringwood, Franklin and Outlaw. Franklin will be remembered as the former A. U., Morehouse and Atlanta Grey Sox first-sacker. Outlaw, who is no outlaw when it comes to bending a baseball at mean niches of the plate, is a real hurler with a fine assortment of stuff. Ringwood is a big boy with a propensity for driving out extra base hits. The others you know.

The Pullmans are under new management. Oscar Watts has been ousted and the Pullmans, once again, are ready to do business. The Macon entry will be fully equipped to take the longer portion of tomorrow's gate. They have no inclination to ride 100 miles for their health alone. They'll be out there shoving in their all in the effort to nab the grand "sixty-percent."

Very early Sunday morning, seven o'clock to be exact, the Pullman Hurricanes, along with several thousand other people, will grab one of the excursion passengers to Montgomery, Alabama on the much-advertised ONE DOLLAR ROUND TRIP rates, there to play the Montgomery Gray Sox of the Negro Southern League, W. M Brown's team. This travelling is over the West Point Route, a simple matter of four and a half hours -and the buck is good for both ways.

Sargent Jim Douglas, business head of the Pullmans, is desirous that all genuine Pullman fans rally behind the club and help the boys show Alabama what he has vaunted about all the while-that the Pullman Hurricanes have a better semi-pro nine than most of the Southern League clubs have professional ball clubs. Okeh fans, get ready.
