Full Text

Edison, the inventor, says the yellow fever germ is carried by a parasite that crawls on the ground. One of the bases of this assertion is the noticeable fact that a line of pavement has been noticed to stop it. He recommends gasoline to kill the parasite. The physicians, many of them, scoff at this, but as Mr. Edison has brought to light many mysterious results that have been scoffed at, there may be a possibility, through him, of reaching the true cause. Very little time and means has science yet employed in seeking this terrible destroyer.
