Garden Club To Have Show At County Fair
The Garden Club Federation of Dayton and vicinity will hold its regular fall flower show at the fairgrounds this year in connection with the Montgomery County fair, on September 1, 2, 3 and 4, it was announced recently by Mrs. Ralph Nesmith, president of the federation.
General chairman for the show this fall is Mrs. C. W. Smalstig. Co-chairman is Mrs. M. J. McCombs.
Other chairmen are Mrs. R. Shoemake, staging; Mrs. Ray Sieber, co-chairman; Mrs. J. G. Hiatt, club exhibits; Mrs. E. M. Becker, co - chairman; Mrs. G. Etter, entry; Mrs. E. M. Taylor, co-chairman; Mrs. Walter Shock, placement; Mrs. Howard Braun, co-chairman; Mrs. Harry Caulfield, hostesses; Mrs. J. W. Medley, co-chairman; Mrs. M. A. Kerst, properties; the Walnut Grove Garden club with Mrs. Harry Miller, president, educational display; Mrs. Jack Pickrel, publicity; Mrs. A. R. Hamilton, co-chairman; Mrs. I. E. Clayton, invitational exhibit.
