Public School Money.
The following is the apportionment of the public school money to the several school districts in the town of Rutland under the new law. The amount divided was $3,937.87, and distributed as follows:

Under the former law, one-fourth of the whole amount was divided equally among the several districts. Under the present law, one-half is equally divided among them. The new apportionment reduces the amount received by the Rutland graded district about $400. The amount received in 1874 was something over $1500, and the present year $1,169.28.
