NEW-YORK, July 27.

At a Court of Oyer and Terminer held at the City-Hall of the city of New-York, in and for the said city and county, began the 9th day of July, instant, and continued until yesterday, when it adjourned, and passed sentence of imprisonment on the following persons for crimes, affixed to each of their names:

BURGLARY
John Merchant, to be imprisoned for life at hard labor in the State Prison.

GRAND LARCENY.
Richard Willis, 7 years at hard labor in State Prison. John H. Bay, do. 4. Thomas Smith, do. 4. Baltus Lintz, do. 4. Wm. Chevers, do. 2.

PETIT LARCENY.
Barbara Bembo, 2 years at hard labor in State Prison; Jenny (a black woman) do. 2. Jeremiah Conner, do. 2. William Brown, 3 months hard labor in Bridewell. Barbara Simmons; do. 2. Mary, (a slave) do. 2; and her master to receive an order to transport her at the expiration of her confinement.

FOR DISORDERLY HOUSES.
Catharine Piper, (alias Catharine Murphy) 3 months hard labor in Bridewell, and to pay a fine of 100 dollars. Lucy Van Zeis, 3 months in Bridewell at hard labor, and to pay a fine of 200 dollars. Jane Mitchell, 60 days hard labor in Bridewell.

RIOTERS
Isaac de la Montanye, 60 days in Bridewell at hard labor. John White, 60 days in Bridewell at hard labor; to pay a fine of 20 dollars, and to find sureties for his good behavior for one year, himself in 200, and one surety in 100 dollars. William Rollins and Alexander Montgomery, 30 days imprisonment and 20 dollars fine, with sureties as above.

Garret Westervelt, Henry Mandeville, Wm. Leonard, Wm. Williams, Amos Green, Lewis Cooper, for inciting a riot, fined 20 dollars.
