HAIL, SISTER NEW-YORK!

All the New-York papers confirm the glorious tidings of the return of the powerful and respectable State of New-York to the politics of the immortal Washington: - The Albany Balance of the 24th instant, states the certainty of the elections of federal Assemblymen in the following counties: - The assembly is composed of 112 members. Beside these one more is calculated on in Tioga, another in Alleghany. There are also favourable reports from Ontario, Cortland and Broome, and a third in Steuben and Al-Delaware. The Federal majority we confidently expect will be up to 20.
