Shakeup Is Expected in Interior Department.

Washington, Nov. 13.—Under the direction of James A. Garfield, who will take charge on March 4 next, the interior department will be reorganized from top to bottom.

For several months the Keep commission, by order of the president, had the various bureaus of the interior department under the searchlight, and it is understood that the results were such that the president decided upon a thorough overhauling not only of methods but of personnel.
