Blind Husband Helpless as Wife Is Fatally Burned
Gloucester, Mass., Dec. 16.--While her blind husband groped his way to within a few feet of her today, Mrs. Albert Parsons failed in her efforts to beat the fire from blazing clothing and was fatally burned. Parsons, terror-stricken, stumbled in the direction of his wife's screams, after she had caught fire from her kitchen stove. He only learned of the tragedy after neighbors responded to her cries. Mrs. Parsons died in a hospital a few hours later.
