CHURCH GROUP VISITS BEACH

Approximately 36 young people of the Ley Memorial Methodist church's Intermediate Youth Fellowship made their way to Rest Beach Tuesday morning armed with six dozen weiners and eight dozen buns and two cases of a soft drink. There they enjoyed a good old-fashioned wiener roast, after which they gathered around a large campfire and sang several hymns and choruses, led by Mrs. E. S. Doherty. Their pastor drew their attention to the beauties of earth and sea and sky, all of which manifests the glories of God's creation. The outing was dismissed with a prayer, followed by the doxology.
