Local All Stars Down Navy Nine Armed Forces Day

The Key West All Stars downed the Navy All Stars in the annual Armed Forces Day baseball game at Walker Field Saturday afternoon by a 4-2 score.

Joe Lewis, on the mound for the civilians, held the hard hitting Navy nine to four hits for the first six frames but had to have help from M. Casas in the final inning to choke off a rally that threatened to overcome the lead the civilians had enjoyed throughout the game.
