FIGHT OVER WOMAN ENDS IN RASH DEED

Late reports received from the Westward tell of the murder of a native at Sanak, during a quarrel with another man, over a woman.

No definite news of the tragedy can be secured other than the two men were alone at the time of the quarrel, but from what can be learned, the native had a deep cut in his head as though he had been beaten to death. Marshal Dan Ross of Unalaska left immediately for the scene of the killing and will be a passenger on the next Starr from the Westward on his way to Valdez with the prisoner.
