THE FLORIDA TRAITORS. We learn that Mr. C. I. Robinson, did not have his house burnt by the rebels in Jacksonville, as first reported. They burnt his Store, and tried to murder him and his partner, a Mr. Parker who went from Cavendish.

Robinson left the place on the day his Store was burnt, and during the day the rebels tried to find him, but he eluded their grasp, which no doubt would have been death.

His partner Mr. Parker left late in the afternoon, and went to the river for a boat. But the rebels had stolen the oars. He however, got into the boat, and a clerk of the establishment rowed him out of the reach of the rebels, using a shingle for an oar.

He was followed and some fifty shots fired at him, but happily none took effect. It should also be added that Mr. Parker got off from a sick bed, and travelled some thirty miles on foot.
