PHILADELPHIA, October 18.

We have Advice from Berks County, that on Saturday the 6th Instant, a Woman and 4 Children were carried off by the Indians near the Allemangle; that one Child being in a Turnip Patch, and seeing the Indians run towards the House, made its Escape; that another Child of 6 Weeks old, was left in a Cradle; and that a Hatchet made in the shape of a Flower de Luce, was found sticking in the Door of the House. The Man that belonged to the Place happened to be from Home when the Affair happened. The Enemy carried off nothing from the House but a Saddle, and a womans Coat.
